Our
History
For the last decade, Nisqually Markets, an initiative by the Nisqually Tribal Council and the Nisqually Board of Economic Development, has had the pleasure of serving the community with our bustling chain of convenience store fueling stations in the South Puget Sound region of Washington state. We proudly run five full-service stores: our flagship property on Yelm Highway; a second location in Lakewood; a community favorite in Frederickson; the brand-new Camas Plaza location on the Nisqually Reservation; and our newest venture – the purchase and inclusion of Nisqually Markets under the Nisqually Markets banner.
Specialty Locations
Besides our main stores, we offer three specialty spots: Nisqually Express, a drivethru and walk-up window in the Nisqually Valley known for tobacco products and Dancing Goats coffee and espresso; Nisqually Outlet in Lacey, where you’ll find a great selection of tobacco, priced to fit your budget; and Camas Coffee House at Camas Plaza, our cozy sit-down coffee shop with a convenient drive-thru, which serves an exclusive roast from Dancing Goats.

Our stores, built by our affiliate Nisqually Construction Services, highlight unique designs that honor Nisqually’s heritage, featuring heavy timber columns and beams, and beautiful tribal artwork on the walls. When you visit one of our stores, you enter an experience that’s the perfect blend of convenience and community.
As part of your community, we love getting involved and giving back! From hosting fun Trunk-or-Treat events to organizing food drives or Adopt-a-Family initiatives, we’re always looking for ways to make a positive impact. We’re also proud to support local businesses through our involvement with the Chamber of Commerce and are active participants in job resource fairs. We offer youth training camps to help young people gain valuable skills, and we provide college internship opportunities for Tribal students to support their future success.
